Daniel Diaz

Daniel Diaz is a Canadian jazz bassist and composer based in Toronto. Born in Cali Colombia, his family moved to Canada in 1999. Due to his background he was immersed in a large variety of musical styles and influences, ranging from Colombian music and salsa, to jazz and contemporary North American music.

He has been notably featured in Toronto's Jazz FM radio showcase program for post secondary students Jazzology, where he debuted his own original composition "January".
