Postmoderndisco

Chasing Memories explores the idea of nostalgia and belonging. It was inspired by Postmoderndisco’s trip to Hong Kong in 2012. The prominent feature in this song is the constant ticking from pedestrian walk signs found at all crossroads in Hong Kong. It is layered with an atmospheric beat interviewed with EastAsian melodies, and features a poem by Jasmine Guy, founder of panacean collaborative arts collective Project 40.
